I live in McCrae on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. My studio is in the back garden near our mini orchard and the vegetable garden. The space is small, but that ensures I am tidy. My indigo vat lives beside the studio and the verandah is where dye pots simmer. Can't live without... Bird song My books The collection of stones, bones and shells that inspire me.

Isn't it wonderful seeing the 'collections' that inspire and entrance? In the last year, a friend suggested it was time I reduced my environmental footprint and did a Marie Kondo clean up of my studio. In trying unsuccessfully to pick up each item to ask the critical Kondo question about whether I loved it or not (keep if I did, toss if I didn't), the answers were resoundingly that I did love my 'things'. So much for clean up. Just so interesting to see your 'collections' and thank you for sharing.

I don't think the Kondo yardstick applies to "creatives" :) we need our inspirational and reusable things !

A beautiful studio and a great collection nicely stored. It's so important to be surrounded by things that inspire and add to the joy of a practice. Nice works on the wall too.
