I am so fortunate to have a wonderful studio in the garden of our property. I was helped with the design by my sister Annie, she had some very good suggestions about where to place things and especially to make sure that my work surface was against a big south facing window. My studio is about 6 x 6 meters with a small gallery as you enter the door. During covid lockdown I can be found here every day otherwise I spend 4 days of the week in Printmaking Sisters Shop/Gallery at The SHAC in Robertson NSW. I have plenty of room to work with a very large press in the centre, the layout works well for printmaking and painting. I have plenty of bench space for all of the other printmaking paraphernalia. It is very peaceful here very rarely any cars or people around I can watch the birds and the seasons go by. Can't live without... I think the first thing that comes to mind is the guillotine, I use it to cut plate, paper and rags - much easier than using scissors. I feel contented when there is plenty of paper, inks and paints to play with. The one thing I can live without is the very large huntsman that has been overwintering here, he keeps watching me!
