021 Julie Ryder
Lives in Weetangera, ACT
My “studio” is actually in four separate spaces – a 60sqm print and dye studio;
a 20sqm sewing room;
a 40sqm design and storage space, and a dark room that houses my photographic exposure unit for screen-printing.
Natural objects are displayed throughout providing inspiration for colour and design.
My natural dye garden and giant elm tree outside surround me.
Can't live without..
5.5m custom built fabric printing table
My six-bay compactus unit – hides all my supplies
Silkscreens, exposure unit, washout trough and inks
Natural objects collections for inspiration
My indigo plants and vats
My light-filled sewing room with garden view
