Lives in Trentham, Victoria “Story Costumer”, is an eclectic, ever-changing space in an old, decommissioned post office. I like to knit on top of the PO bench or create costumes in a space that doubles as costume hire, retail premise and place of magical happenings. Today I’m creating a ball gown out of lost toys, tomorrow I might build a pirate ship as a shop fitting. Can't live without... As a magical seamstress I favour vintage fittings/mannequins, older materials, gleaned string, threads, and unfinished projects which I feature in new pieces. I love floaty antiquity, lace and sheer fabrics, anything to make customers swoon. Baskets! I must have many baskets for projects in various stages. And my big gold scissors.
