045.. ROBBY WRIGHT

22/2/2022

I’m lucky to live in Tumbulgum,
a village of 390 people on the Tweed River about 10k south of the Queensland border
and a similar distance from the coast.
The World Heritage Border Ranges lap the north side of the river.
My stitching space encompasses the entire house;
the studio, shared with my husband is my storage area,
my armchair is where I stitch
and I work in my journals, planning future work, at my desk by the front door.
The kitchen supplies essentials: tea and wine (when required).

I so hope you're not part of the River with all your drenching rain at present. Keep safe.

Ooooohhhhh, your library. If I visited, I'd settle into that chair and you wouldn't hear a peep out of me - except maybe to annoy you in your workspace to see what you were doing. Love your space. Thanks for sharing.

It's a beautiful place where you live Robby and I do hope you are safe in all this weather. Your library is a delight and I am impressed by your work chair space. That piece looks intriguing.

Oh Robbie! I'm hearing all these horror stories of the flooding in Tumblegum. I hope you are safe and I hope your beautiful cosy studio spaces and library survives,

    Fibre Arts Australia or to their social media links.

    Another initiative to keep us in touch from the Fibre Arts Team.
