Lives in Weetangera, ACT My “studio” is actually in four separate spaces – a 60sqm print and dye studio; a 20sqm sewing room; a 40sqm design and storage space, and a dark room that houses my photographic exposure unit for screen-printing. Natural objects are displayed throughout providing inspiration for colour and design. My natural dye garden and giant elm tree outside surround me. Can't live without.. 5.5m custom built fabric printing table My six-bay compactus unit – hides all my supplies Silkscreens, exposure unit, washout trough and inks Natural objects collections for inspiration My indigo plants and vats My light-filled sewing room with garden view Julie's Fibre Arts workshop link here

Ahhhh Julie. I want what you have! Love the idea of the compactus. Such a good use of space and love how you have set up your spaces. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you Nancy! I have always wanted such a flexible storage system that can hide a multitude of mess! Having so many different parts to my practice and no space for a warehouse in the back yard necessitated overtaking other parts of underneath the house, and it has worked well having different compartments for each activity. Thanks for your comments!

Julie! Hello! I adore your organised and light filled space/s, how wonderful to be able to have separate spaces for all of your processes...and the compactor! now that's a fabulous idea. Hope we catch up in 2022! Peta

120sqm - about the size of a small house; no wonder my house is packed with stuff!
