I live on a cliff, on an island, in the Pacific Northwest part of the United States.
I have a view of water and distant mountains, with woodland trails down to a beach below my home. 
My studio is filled with collections of nature’s tokens like stones and seed pods.
It is also filled with collections from Japan, washi papers and fabrics.
Because of where I live, nature has a huge influence on my art work.
Another influence on my work is my connection to my Japanese heritage.
​My studio is filled with everything I love.
