I live in Mosgiel, a small town just outside Dunedin city
in the South Island of New Zealand. 
I occupy the former master bedroom of my home.
It has good light & adequate space. I have good storage with easy access & work surfaces at various heights.
​I use a lot of machines in my work & my setup means no packing away. 
I’m a machine embroiderer.
I use sewing machine, free motion & digital machine embroidery along with other textile techniques like applique to make stitched art textiles.
The basis for my work is landscape photography.
​I use my photos as both the subject matter & substance of the work.
