I live in the mountains of Santa Fe, New Mexico.
My studio has been a dream in the making for many years. I imagined it before we even found our home. The space where the studio would be built was originally a basketball court. I would sit in my visioning chair and imagine it completed. The garden completes it.

Can't live without...

The light from my skylights
My large worktables
Slat walls for hanging art
The garden filled with bird songs
A separate space for my computer work and research.

What an amazing space, So much light. And great hanging space too, like having an changeable art exhibition all the time. Great to be able to see your work.

I got to visit Sandra’s studio a few years ago when I was teaching in New Mexico and it is magnificent! And so are her gardens💕 These photos show it off beautifully!

Sandra's studio is a wonderful testament to her drive and creativity. I have had the pleasure of visiting her many times in Santa Fe over the past 11 years and every time I am amazed at her work output. Her unflagging enthusiasm for life shows in every class she teaches and every piece she makes. The works of hers that I own give me pleasure each time I look at them. They remind me of what a special artist Sandra is, as well as being a great friend.

Thank you. The space with the colorful wall is a separate room. It was originally my studio until I built the big one and now it is my office and research space.
