I live in Australia’s Capital, Canberra – a place of four seasons. The last few years have been my big chance to buckle down and work on 'gunna do’ projects. The lack of distractions and the gift of time allowed me to finish a major embroidery work and write about my process. My book Improv Embroidery exposed me to new experiences, podcasts, magazine reviews, and a studio head shot for publications. Have you noticed how we all show our work and studio but no faces? So here I am. No longer invisible. Editor's Note... This is the link to purchase Carol's Improv Embroidery book... Can't live without... My husband who does technical support, says nice things about my work and never says no. My dog Buddy, follows me to the studio before the sun comes up and his snoring Thread, needle and a bit of fabric keeps me as happy A new challenge and for me that was writing a book Natural light sunshine and a bit of warmth

Beautiful work Carol. That is a great thread storage system you have there. Lovely stitching space. Your book looks intriguing. Is it easily available?

Love all the thread, and the way it’s stored. And the colour, colour, colour!

Such a welcoming space! I can visualise you, with a cuppa, and enjoying your work. Thank you for sharing.
