I live in Richmond, Virginia USA

My studio space is in the basement of my cozy home.
Clay is my primary focus but I also work in paper, mixed media and fiber so workspaces stretch into 3 different corners.
My pottery area occupies the Northeast corner where I have the advantages of 2 lovely well-lit windows.

A couple of years ago, I had a raging argument with someone who decided that, as we age, we should minimalise and 'reduce our footprint' on this earth Your workspace, spreading into different areas of creativity warmed my soul - and reinforced that some people like you have a lot of diverse creativity to share. I enjoy the textile Artists studios.Wish mine was bigger but then I would be tempted to buy more stuff.

Great to see such a well organized space. I keep telling myself that I will do that. It must be so helpful when you can find what you know is there. On my list to do - tomorrow.

I wish it was as organized as it looks in the photos. It's hard to keep things in order when projects are ongoing. Every now and then I have to stop and clean house!
