Moving to Somerton in 2012, a historic West Country village, Somerset

My creative space is a small, but perfectly formed garden studio…..with a view of our home. 
It's more than adequate and usually chaotic with ideas, work in progress - a painting / machine stitching table, and good storage for art and fabric supplies. 
​When tidy,  the studio becomes a small gallery space for local ‘open studio - art week’ events.  
Running water, a kettle and wifi… What more do you need?

Can't live without...

a good heater in winter,
and over head natural light.
wifi for music, working on my laptop, or using a small printer.
a place to paint and draw.
some old family photos - my Canadian roots,
and a photo of Constance Howard (who I knew), for inspiration.
