Lives in Western Australia. Dye Pot Studio My beautiful husband built my "Dye Pot Studio" in our backyard in 2018 - a precious sanctuary where I can spread out my stuff, carry out experiments, create colours and run workshops. A veranda gives cover for dye preparation and the dyer's garden provides many types of plant pigments. Can't live without.. Assorted sizes and types of mortar and pestles. Range of mullers and glass slabs. Lots of glass preserving jars for lake pigments - the bigger the better. Painters tape and marker pens for labelling everything as I go. Stainless steel, iron and copper pots and a gas burner. Phone for photos, notes, calculator and internet searches. Bluetooth speaker to blast out the 'studio' playlist.
