I am fortunate to have a ‘a room of my own’ that is dedicated to my creative activities. I mostly describe it as a room with fabulous storage that I can work in. It is big enough for me to have a central desk that has a large cutting mat and my sewing machine permanently set up and plenty of storage. Can't live without.. Stuff… a maker needs stuff to work with. It can vary as the whim takes you! For me fabric, threads of all types and sewing paraphernalia are a must. And... paints, inks, paper and junk for embellishment and mixed media. Storage… it is an absolute necessity if you are going to hoard stuff. Kerrie's Fibre Arts workshop details here

Wow - what a lovely garden! Very, very beautiful! And an inspiration for your work, no doubt! (Or the other way around??)

Yup. We're sisters from different mothers. This is how my workspace looks (without the fabulous garden). I wanted to dive in and see all your 'stuff'... thanks for sharing.
