Rosey King lives in Ballarat. She began felting in 2005 and works with wool, silk and cotton materials in addition to natural plant fibres.
King is influenced by the colours and patterns of nature, she uses stitch weaving, nuno and other techniques to embellish her felt vessels.

This workshop will focus upon producing felted vessels of various dimensions, structure and trimming.
The workshop will cover making three dimensional felt vessels, using both fine micron and coarser wool.
Nuno felting techniques will be incorporated into surfaces of the vessels. Stitch weaving with raffia, and other natural fibres and threads will embellish the vessels.
Participants will be introduced to the techniques and materials that enhance their ability to expand the versatility of their feltmaking.
