Coming to you from Hobart Tasmania!
After dabbling in several art forms over the years I landed on modern hand embroidery. More specifically, abstract embroidery art.
I’m Inspired by the beauty of Tasmania and the nature around me. I take day trips around the island for inspiration, which helps create my abstract embroidery art through texture and colour. Using natural fibres such as cotton, silk, ribbon, beads, gemstones, recycled materials and even shells or feathers collected on a nature walk.
This brings it all together for a magical collection of different fibres and textures which helps produce a beautiful piece of work.
