Mug Women ii

2021 - 150 x 200cm
Photo Printed on Textile, Stitched and Handprinted
Mug Shots worked on with courtesy of the police museum of Melbourne .
The stories of these women touched me. I emphasize their living, crime and feelings with a commentary of stitching and printing (..the prostitute..).
1.A barmaid who had quarrels with another women, she is reported to always be very well dressed, like a model.
2. She had an affair with a young doctor and shot him, when he wanted to separate. Tears -  the heart is bleeding.
3.  She is reported to be the most wanted prostitute in town, being touched because of her "shining"?
