Box assemblage
Allowing participants to combine both 2 and 3 dimensional forms, the Box Assemblageworkshop merges the skills of book binding, collage and box assemblage techniques. Through the collective processes of incorporating found objects, collage and book binding students will create individual narratives contained within personally designed box formations.
As a starting point students will be encouraged to gather and collect a range of images and objects relating to their own personal history or environment they wish to explore.
These resources will then form the basis of a series of collage and bookish responses that will then be assembled into individually designed box/book pieces created by each student.
The outcomes for students will vary depending on the images and objects collected.
