Handmade brushes and hand stitched vessels
Make your own set of hand stitched vessels using your own hand painted cloth.
This workshop will be process driven through experimentation in mark making by making your own set of hand made brushes. You will then explore the first marks on paper and cloth using pigmented ink.
A very simple artist book will then be made as reference points to the theme of hope and gratitude. The cloth will then be cut and shredded as the base material to build your own set of unique hand vessels in a variety of shapes and sizes.
The building of the forms will use a variety of mediums and techniques then hand stitched.
Suits all skill levels.
