Who's ya dolly?

Design and construct your own simple art doll, taking inspiration from an artist or art style, cartoon or simply let your inner muse free.

In this fun and playful workshop participants will be designing their own simple patterns, firstly in card and then in cloth. The doll(s) will then be stitched and decorated using paint or other colouring medium and embellished in a way that evokes a sense of the artist or art movement.

There will be times when your painted doll(s) need to dry so we will use that time to create or adapt a doll using a variety of mixed media and found objects.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and experienced doll artists. Basic machine and hand sewing skills are required for the construction of the doll.
