After years of travel and living abroad, this artist now calls Tasmania home.
Lynne’s studio practice in Mixed Media sees her turning vintage documents, ephemera and found objects into unique collage, curiosity boxes & one-of-a-kind assemblages. Each share a common thread – the story retold.
The artist’s creations reflect the beauty she sees in salvaged and used items, many sourced from Paris flea markets and Indian bazaars. Lynne’s works are exhibited widely in solo and group exhibitions, and are held in many private collections.

Curiosity boxes
We all have objects we treasure; reminders of something personal; a past event, time or person. These precious keepsakes and souvenirs which mean so much often lie hidden in drawers, when they could be admired by others and evoke memories for their owners.
A handmade curiosity box with compartments specially made for each treasure is a wonderful way to hold and share these precious memories. The boxes are a joy in themselves, each beautifully crafted to compliment the objects they hold. Previous experience is not necessary. Participants will leave with one or more curiosity boxes for themselves or as a gift for that special someone; each one conveying stories in a unique and evocative way.
A materials list will be provided upon registration. Examples of the artist’s work will be on display for inspection.
